Getting to Hua Hin

The best way to get here for us from Sweden is of course by plane, but once in Thailand you can also go here by taxi, bus or car or train. If you travel from Bangkok by plane to Hua Hin, the journey takes just over half an hour and there are several departures to choose from per day. The bus is a cheaper alternative and then you also get to enjoy the beautiful Thai landscape on the way. If you want to take the train from Bangkok instead, you can count on a journey of four hours, and a cost of about 200 Baht.

Take the opportunity to Golf

If you like golf, Hua Hin is a clear choice. Hua Hin probably has the world’s lowest Green Fee, and has very good golf courses to choose from. The courses are world class, and since you have not yet discovered the place as a golf place in the world, you get to play relatively undisturbed. The best golf courses in the resort are excellent to get to by taxi and for example the local hotels are happy to help recommend the right course.

Fishing and butterflies

On the islands of Koh Sang, Koh Sing and Koh Thalu you can go fishing if you like. The boat trip takes about 20 minutes, and you get a perfect day with really good fishing.

If you want to plan another type of day trip, you can visit the butterfly park located opposite Kali Kang won Palace. Here you can see thousands of different butterflies flying freely within a fenced area. This park is very popular with families with children, and if you are lucky you can get a butterfly that lands on your hand!

Beaches

Hat Hua Hin is a long sandy beach lined with restaurants and various types of accommodation options. You go here with advantage even if you like water sports. Take the opportunity to ride along the beach! A wonderful experience that gives fond memories.
If you want a more deserted beach and just relax, Takiab Beach is the best choice.
Hat Khao Tao is also very nice and it can be found in about 5 minutes drive from central Hua Hin. This beach is also popular with sun worshipers.

Pran Buri beach is located at Pran Buri forest park, which offers nice hiking trails. This beach and park is located about 30 km south of Hua Hin and the easiest way to get there is by taxi.

Hotel

Hua Hin offers something for everyone. There are accommodations from simple bungalows up to five-star luxury hotels, so that everyone can find their dream home. The high season can cause the hotels to be fully booked, so it is important to book in time! You can always find simpler accommodation even in high season, but since accommodation is cheap in Thailand, the larger hotels can be fully booked.
